Saperstein Jewish Center

The Saperstein Jewish Center, commonly referred to as "The Sap" was dedicated is a focal point for Jewish study, religion, and culture on our campus. Serving as a place of study, worship, society, and more, it plays an extremely dynamic role at Colgate.

Features of the Center

The facility includes:
  • Two spacious kitchens where meat and dairy foods can be prepared separately, so traditional kosher meals can be prepared and served
  • Classroom/study area with SMART board and wireless access
  • Lounge with plasma TV
  • Multipurpose synagogue space
  • A growing library of several hundred volumes that complements Case Library's Judaica holdings.

Hours

Student monitors are employed to keep the facility open and in order for public use at these times during the semester:

Sunday-Thursday: 12:00 pm to 12:00 am
Fridays: 1:00 pm until the beginning of Shabbat
