Class of 2013

  • Silvia Bobeica* (chemistry):  She is pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Illinois.  She was also accepted at Duke University, Northwestern University, Purdue University, and John Hopkins University.
  • Nick Bourke (biochemistry):  He is planning to work with a special needs organization in Chicago and do research a year or two prior to applying to medical school.
  • Hao-Jung (Julia) Chun (biochemistry):  She is applying to medical school.
  • Timothy Coulther (biochemistry):  He is pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry and chemical biology at Northeastern University.  He was also accepted at George Washington University, Georgetown University, Tulane University, and the University of Denver
  • Adam Gonzalez (biochemistry):  He is carrying out post-baccalaureate work at the National Institutes of Health prior to applying to medical school.
  • Ashley Gonzalez* (chemistry):  She is carrying out post-baccalaureate work at the National Institutes of Health prior to applying to graduate school.
  • Amanda Harris (chemistry):  She is planning to pursue a research position in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry prior to applying to graduate school.
  • Leyan Li* (chemistry):  She is carrying out post-baccalaureate work at the National Institutes of Health prior to applying to pharmacy or medical school.
  • Patrick Ligons (biochemistry):  He is planning to pursue a research position prior to applying to graduate school.
  • Michelle Lu (biochemistry):  She is attending pharmacy school at Midwestern University.  She was also accepted at the University of Albany and St. John Fisher.
  • Michael Massey (biochemistry):  He is working at a hospital prior to applying to medical school.
  • David Pudalov (biochemistry):  He is attending medical school at the University of Rochester.
  • Jay Tinklepaugh (chemistry):  He is pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at Syracuse University.
  • Mitchell Urbanowicz (biochemistry):  He is teaching English in Japan prior to applying to graduate school.
  • Samuel Wopperer (biochemistry):  He is carrying out post-baccalaureate work at the University of Pennsylvania prior to applying to medical school.
  • Nevin Yusufova* (chemistry):  She is pursuing a year-long research assistantship in molecular biology at Harvard University prior to applying to graduate school.

Class of 2012

  • Adam Ashwell (chemistry):  He is pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at Northwestern University.  He was also accepted at the University of Colorado, University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, Penn State University, Ohio State University, University of Chicago, Yale University, and Cornell University.
  • Eric Carlson (biochemistry):  He is presently applying to M.S. programs.
  • Vincent Galdi (biochemistry):  He is attending medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
  • Michael Kelly (biochemistry):  He is working with City Year Boston- Americorp funded program tutoring/mentoring in inner city schools in Boston for one year prior to starting medical school at the University of Rochester.
  • Caroline Komanecky (biochemistry):  She is presently interviewing for clinical positions (public health, mental health)  prior to applying to medical school. Update: She is currently working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on diabetes clinical research. She intends to apply to medical school after a year or two.
  • Gretl Lam (biochemistry):  Currently attending medical school at NYU.  Accepted to: Washington University (St. Louis) and NYU.
  • Jason Lee (biochemistry):  He is presently seeking a position in clinical or pharmaceutical research prior to applying to medical school.
  • David Long (biochemistry):  He is applying for research positions  (pharmaceutical and cancer center) prior to applying to medical or pharmacy school. Update: Landed a job with Albany Molecular Research (pharmaceuticals).
  • Claire Maggiotto (biochemistry):  She is working as a research technician for two years in a pediatric research group at the Albert Einstein Institute prior to applying to medical school.
  • Hilary Nicholson (biochemistry):  She is pursuing a Ph.D. in pharmacology and molecular physiology at Brown University.  She was also accepted at New England, Boston University, and Tufts University.
  • Lauren Parrette* (chemistry):  She is pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at University of Pittsburgh.  She was also accepted at Boston University.
  • Dimitar Shopov (chemistry):  He is pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at Yale University.  He was also accepted at Princeton University, Cornell University, and Carnegie Mellon University.
  • Katherine Silvey (chemistry):  She is pursuing an masters degree in Nursing at Northeastern University.
  • Jennifer Tendler (chemistry):  She is attending medical school at George Washington University.
  • Colin Yi* (chemistry):  He is carrying out post-baccalaureate work at the National Institutes of Health.

Class of 2011

  • Brian Bender (biochemistry)-Applying for positions in research lab aiming for a 1-2 yr. appointment, then plans to attend graduate school in biochemistry.
  • Paul Bremmer* (chemistry)-Pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at Scripps. Was also accepted at: UC-Irvine, Stanford, University of Chicago, University of Madison-Wisconsin.
  • Jason Cohen (biochemistry)-Attending medical school at Johns Hopkins University. Was also accepted at Mt. Sinai, Albert Einstein, University of Virginia.
  • Caroline Coverdale (biochemistry)-Graduate studies in pharmacy at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
  • Jacqueline Gerson (biochemistry)-Working with Peace Corp for 2.5 yrs in sub-Saharan Africa. Then plans to pursue graduate studies in biogeochemistry.
  • Amanda Gibson* (chemistry)-Working at a pharmacy and then plans to pursue graduate studies in pharmacy.
  • Daniel Goldstein (biochemistry)-Working in Australia for 1 yr. with a geology firm. Upon returning, plans to apply to medical school for matriculation in 2013.
  • Kevin Heylman (chemistry)-Pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Joshua Krasilovsky-Revell (biochemistry)-Working at Deloitte Consulting in a 2-3 yr. position, then plans to attend business school for a MBA.
  • Howard Lanney (biochemistry)-Presently undecided. Considering work with food sustainability and outreach, perhaps medical school, masters of public health
  • or graduate school in future. Update: Participating in the New York Teaching Fellows program to support his Masters of Teaching degree.
  • Kevin Leal (chemistry)-Looking for a 1-yr. chemistry related position prior to applying to medical school.
  • Paikin Leung (biochemistry)-Attending medical school at Case Western Reserve University. Also accepted at: SUNY Downstate, Albert Einstein, Tufts.
  • Alexandra Marshall* (chemistry)-Pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Virginia.
  • Caitlin McCarthy (biochemistry)-Working as a clinical research assistant at Harvard Shoulder Services, Brigham and Women's Hospital.
  • Rachael Million-Perez (biochemistry)-Plans to work in a lab position prior to applying to law school. Update: Landed a laboratory research position at Bar Ilan University, Israel.
  • Brendon Mitchell (biochemistry)-Working as a paramedic during summer 2011. May then pursue postbaccalaureate program prior to applying to medical school.
  • Allen Mo (chemistry)-Attending the MD/PhD program at the University of Connecticut.
  • Joyce Noble (biochemistry)-Pursuing a Ph.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry at Wesleyan University. Was also accepted at WPI.
  • Scott Rogers* (chemistry)-Presently undecided. Plans to pursue graduate school or work in chemistry lab.
  • Kenneth Schmidt (biochemistry)-Attending medical school at University of Buffalo.
  • Stacey Tanguy (biochemistry)-Looking for a 1-yr. position working with animals. Plans to apply to veterinary school next year.
  • Emily Weyburne (biochemistry)-Pursuing a Ph.D. in Experimental & Molecular Medicine/Pharmacology at Dartmouth.

Class of 2010

  • Benjamin Ashwell (chemistry)-Has accepted the opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry at Northwestern University. Plans to work in theoretical chemistry, possibly with Mark Ratner.
  • Elyse Davey (chemistry)-After completing 2 courses, she will apply for graduate studies in Pharmacy. Update: She is in the graduate studies in Pharmacology at the University of Washington.
  • Nicole Dunn (biochemistry)-Graduate school in chemistry at Penn State. Also accepted at: Nortre Dame, Boston University, UVA, UNC, Ohio State.
  • Joseph Koos (biochemistry)-Sloan-Kettering Research Center for 2 years doing X-ray Crystallography, then applying to Ph.D. programs.
  • Nicole Lampland (chemistry)-Graduate school in chemistry at Iowa State. Also accepted at: UNC, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Berkeley, Northwestern, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Vanderbilt.
  • Jacob Perlman (chemistry)-Planning on returning to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where he will serve as an associate buyer in his parents' stores (BrandsMart of USA).
  • Raymond Swartz (chemistry)-Graduate school in chemistry at Stanford. Also accepted at: Princeton, Duke, Columbia, Cal Tech, Cornell, UC Berkeley.
  • Rifat Zaman (chemistry)- Completed one year of research at NIH. Now attending medical school at Dartmouth. Was also accepted to MD/PhD program at Upstate.
  • Zafir Zaman (chemistry)-Chemical engineering at Northwestern. Also accepted at: USC, Imperial College London, VA Tech.

Class of 2009

  • Nickesha David* (chemistry)—seeking employment editing chemistry textbooks.
  • Danette Flint (chemistry)—Attending medical school at Dartmouth. Accepted to: Rochester, Albany, Buffalo and Dartmouth.
  • Rachel Fowler (biochemistry)—Served as clinical Research Assistant at the Harvard Shoulder Service for one year. Currently attending medical school at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine.
  • Brian Kennedy (biochemistry)— Currently attending medical school at UMDNJ-Newark.
  • Benjamin Kuhns (chemistry)— Took a gap year. Taught a Kaplan course and then began a master’s program at Northwestern University. Currently attending medical school at Case Western Reserve.
  • Andrew Long* (chemistry)—regrouping.
  • Rae Reynes* (chemistry)—Applying for clinical research positions in Boston and NY, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Mt. Sinai, Columbia Presbyterian. Also applying for M.S. in Public Health.
  • Elizabeth Robertson* (chemistry)—Participated in Peace Corps. Currently attending medical school at Boston University.
  • Brian Solis (chemistry)—PhD in Chemistry at Penn State.
  • Katherine Van den Heever* (biochemistry)—Applying for forensic internships with the FBI.
  • Philip Wasicek (chemistry)—Attending medical school at University of Rochester. Accepted to: Upstate Medical Syracuse and Rochester.
