Senior Projects

Studio Art students have worked in a wide variety of mediums including video, printmaking, painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography.

Arts programs provide an impressive array of curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for the Colgate community. Critical dialogue on the arts in the liberal arts context is encouraged and supported by the Institute for the Creative and Performing Arts.

Colgate’s Picker Art Gallery, Longyear Museum of Anthropology, and Clifford Art Gallery host a dynamic range of exhibitions which yield insight into diverse cultures as well as exposure to cutting edge contemporary practice.

The arts are a key contributor to the social vitality of campus as well as an important resource for the region.
